Spacemen in Brooklyn

Sometimes you get ideas to do things that consume you like this little project. To get ready for a party at my gallery I decided to make a spaceman for people to take pictures with. With some suggestions from friends and family it turned into a figure whose arms would also move. I did a compositional sketch for the project and with about 8 working hours and little sleep created what turned out to be a pretty awesome spaceman set….

Dearest Nephew Peter……..I cannot even begin to express how proud and a amazed I am of you and what you have accomplished as an artist, a visionary and a person!! You have made leaps and bounds in your mind and your heart through your hands and your paints, pencils, pens and paper and I just love you so much and for who you are.
