“The dance of creativity is fluid, flirtatious and free. It requires a partner who will remain thoughtfully within that flow. That’s where the magic happens.”

Hi, I’m Pete.
I’m an artist, musician, writer, teacher, friend, student & devotee of this eternally unfolding mystery of life.
Everything that I am, comes through in my art.
.
I BELIEVE…
“There’s no better time to begin than now.”
“That every Human being has an internal light that cannot be extinguished.”
“In encouraging and supporting one another no matter what.”
“That dreams can…and DO come true. Way more than you think.”
“In protecting, honoring, and exalting all life on this planet.”

SOME FUNNY FACTS
1 – When I lived in California I appeared on 2 prime time dating shows.
2 – I spent 5 years in the U.S Marine Corps as an Air Traffic Controller. They used to call me Sergeant Bragino.
3 – My artistic and musical style is forged, an original expression that comes from deep within my soul. All my art and my music is an act of love, time, patience, and devotion.
4 – My best friend is more than likely my Guitar.
5 – My first art job: a job airbrushing t-shirts of the Simpsons and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was given the shirts and the paint and was paid $1.00 per shirt.
6 – I often mix mediums together, or layer them on top of each other. Layering is a process that helps me mimic the constant aging process that occurs in nature. This technique builds history and beauty into a picture and gives the image a certain life of its own.
7 – I have spent well over 7,500 hours studying my craft, at least 5,000 of which were spent drawing the human figure from life. From this, I have created over 35 sketchbooks, thousands of drawings, and hundreds of paintings and three-dimensional works.
8 – My favorite drink is Rasa Tea, if you’re not sure what that is, you should check it out.
9 – Music, my late-to-bloom yet full force passion is my mode to express and elevate the sacred. I’m inspired by my medicine work, the potent incantations of hicaros and inarios, and sitting with master teachers such as ayahuasca. I often think in soundtrack; and my music is a way to bring a roundness to my art and my artistic expression.
10 – I find beauty in obscure places, like the bark of a tree, weathered buildings, subway tunnels, graffitied walls, rusted metal, garbage on a city sidewalk, and so much more.
Such Little Things
By Peter Bragino
There is beauty in such little things, a smile, a gesture, a sunlit tree.
A song in the summer, the fruit from the land, the touch of a whisper, the warmth of the sand.
The ambient sounds that cover the day, the laughter of children, their casual way.
These are the treasures, so easy to know, the secretive riches that comfort the soul.
The more you can gather, the more you will see there’s beauty abound in such little things.
