“I never kept a sketchbook until I was 30 years old. I now have over 40 completely filled sketchbooks!”

“When I was about 8 years old I took guitar lessons for about a month. My Grandfather and my Dad even bought me a beautiful electric guitar. Truth was I hated guitar lessons so much that I quit a week later, gave them back the guitar and never touched one again until I was 23 years old. I’ve been obsessed ever since.”

“I don’t belive in erasers. As far as I’m concerned there are no mistakes, just little pieces of history that make each work of art that much more interesting and dynamic.”

“I’ve tried many different types of sketchbooks. One day I found Moleskine and now I woudn’t even consider using anything else!”

“I’m currently obsessed with learning the piano. There’s something about being able to improvise with both hands that’s addictive to me. #itsnevertoolatetolearn.”

“I spent 5 years in the US Marine Corps as an Air Traffic Controller. They used to call me Sergeant Bragino!”

“If I had to credit one thing for helping me navigate my life and to sooth me through all the hard times it would have to be…hands down My Guitar and the songs we’ve sung together.”

“I successfully completed the course  “The Artist’s Way” 5 times and still use some of it’s techniques today.”

“I used to always try to get my friends to draw when we were youger but they never really took me up on the offer. We always wound up playing sports instead.”

“People often ask me to create art for them but not spend too much time on it. Seriously? Do you even know me? That’s not how it works and certainly not how I operate.” #anythingworthdoingisworthdoingobsessivelywell

“When I think the art that I admire most I remember seeing the artist’s struggle, their journey, their emotions, their fears, their joy, their dedication, and ultimately their soul.”

“Over 50% of the art I’ve ever created has been in service to the people I love. I consider it an honor to bring beautiful art to life in this way.”

“I appeared on TV a few times – Love Connection and Blind Date – My blind date episode even made Talk Soup. I thought that was kind of cool but wasn’t too happy with the way producers tell you what to do and what to say on TV.” #realitytvisnotreal

“I was 30 years old when I first began my study of the human figure and drawing from the live model.”
